Music searches too—for those who play and listen to it ...
And so, we found each other, even when connections already exist
This album was recorded throughout 2025 in various locations: in Alexander’s apartment in Tbilisi, in Zurich, in a friend’s studio, and at the Klangwelt Toggenburg.
Alexandre and I, who both share the same last name, play all kinds of keyboard instruments – piano, harmonium, synthesizers. Alexandre, Elene, and sometimes even unknown birds from the tree next to the studio in Toggenburg occasionally join in. I play most of the pieces on an old Bechstein grand piano, which was already quite out of tune and worn out after the first recording. But that's part of it: this sound reminds me of how you sometimes hear someone playing an old piano through an open window in the streets of Tbilisi. This is also part of our “film”.
